“Celebrating Our Strengths”

The strengths of our community, its members as well as our surrounding neighbors.

Your contribution/ donations will help us pay for live  music, entertainment , and event costs.

Pioneer Day Celebration is being held on the 17th of July 2021 .

We will be celebrating our strengths by holding a Grand Opening for the Volunteer Fire Department in the new addition to the existing Fire station, with information booths being provided by Bluewater Water and sanitation district as well as Bluewater Village Fire Department, New Mexico Rural Water Association and More.

We are going to start the day off as follows:

• Pancake breakfast   8:00am (free)

• Parade at 10:00am

• Pot luck lunch at Noon

• We will also have live bands like: Upon Thy Exile, and Break Time Band with potential for more.

• Garcia's tents providing shade!

• We will have a Car Shows with other activities like, RC Racing, a Rock Climb by the Badlands RC Community along with a Jumper Obstacle course, regular kids jumpers, water slide bouncers  and knocker ball being just to name a few.

• We will also be having a Bike Giveaway and

• And finally we will have a street dance in the evening with a nice fireworks display! (If permitted by weather conditions and fire restrictions.)

This event will bring people together after the arduous COVID pandemic to celebrate our strength in resilience, resolve, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing world.  Additionally, it will provide opportunities to present tidbits of public information as to how we, as a people, can achieve goals within small and big communities alike, by becoming more involved and better informed.

We are asking for your support in this cause because in the end we are all neighbors, friends and family.  We are all in this together.  It could be your neighbor, your friend, your family, your employees and your business having to carry the burden of higher taxes caused by increased rates, penalties, fees and taxes.  When your rates go up your taxes go up, by the same dollar amount, dollar for dollar.

We are all Americans and America along with all of us should come first!  But the truth is, we live in America where all 50 states are considered Primacy States.

Consider this, the Clean Water Act states :

4) PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM.—

(A) IN GENERAL.—The term ‘‘public water system’’

means a system for the provision to the public of water for human consumption through pipes or other constructed conveyances, if such a system has at least fifteen service connections or regularly serves at least twenty-five individuals. Such term includes (i) any collection, treatment, storage, and distribution facilities under control of the operator of such system and used primarily in connection with such system,

If Primacy was to be applied as intended then New Mexico would not have, in just the last three years, a total of 34 Small Community Public Water Systems that all share the same environmental protection agency violation, failure to hire a certified operator.  Communities should be afforded equality with the ability to retain a certified operator within each systems district to perform the certified operations, but we don’t.

If America was first, We would not have 136 small Community Public Water Systems  continuously or perpetually out of compliance coupled with experiencing local economic difficulties  in part caused by policy makers.  We all are  living  within these communities with aging drinking water and waste water infrastructure problems that need upgrades all while we experience inadequate funding and programs to address these ever pressing issues.

If America was first, New Mexico Environmental department ( NMED) wouldn’t only have four engineering managers in the construction bureau program overseeing 500, currently being built, construction projects throughout New Mexico.   Many of these N.M. tax payer projects exceed one million dollar.

Due to lack of funding and the inability to retain employees, NMED operates at a 30% vacancy.  Moreover, the Environmental Department Agency nationwide has decreased program management by over 50% costing you the American tax payer hundreds of millions of dollars in over paid invoices due to lack of oversight caused by these employee shortages .   This is a nationwide issue and it’s time we made America First!

For the people by the people!

We want to provide a celebration with activities that are fun, entertaining, relaxing and informative.

Any contribution/donation that you could provide would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.  THANK YOU!
